Stop gambling on the weather.
Tell SeasonMap the month you can travel and the kind of trip you want. It scores 604 destinations on how the weather actually feels that month — heat, rain, humidity, sun, air quality — and ranks the whole world for you, with the reason behind every score.
No account, no card, nothing held back. All 604 destinations are free — membership just keeps it running.

The whole world's climate for your month — green is great, red is rough — at a glance.
How it works
Most weather sites answer “what's it like in Lisbon in March?”. SeasonMap answers the question you actually have: where should I go in March?
- 1
Pick a month
The month you can actually travel — school holidays, a gap between projects, whenever. That's the constraint everyone plans around.
- 2
Pick your kind of trip
Beach, city walking, hiking, snow, sunshine-chasing. Each style re-weights what counts: a beach trip cares about sea-season heat, a hiking trip about rain and humidity.
- 3
The whole world re-ranks
Every destination gets a comfort score for that month and that style, drawn on the map and ordered in a list — each with the one-line reason why it scored that way.
Read the map any way you like
Climate score is just the start — recolor the whole world by heat, rain, air quality, snow, sunshine, humidity and more, for any month.

What you can do with it
Every destination, ranked for your trip
Pick a month and a travel style and see all 604 places ordered by how good they actually feel, each with the one-line reason why.

Pick your kind of trip
Beach, city walking, hiking, sunshine, winter & snow, desert — each style re-weights the score for what actually matters on that kind of trip.

Tune it to exactly what you care about
Set your own comfort range and how much temperature, rain, humidity, sun, air quality or wind should count. The ranking re-sorts as you go.

Filter by any metric
Hard limits for what you won't compromise on — max heat, max rain, clean air, enough daylight — and the map + list narrow to only what fits.

The full story per place — and the why
Temperature, rain, humidity, sunshine, air quality, daylight — month by month, with the comfort score explained and the best months at a glance.

Build a shortlist, compare seasons
Star the places you're weighing, then watch them re-rank as you change the month — so you go where it's best, when it's best.

Travelers plan their year around it
“I almost booked Chiang Mai in March. SeasonMap tanked the score — crop-burning season, hazardous air. Went in December instead and the skies were perfect.”
“Had Kerala booked for July until SeasonMap showed peak monsoon. Shifted the whole trip to January — sunshine the entire time.”
“Dubai in August looked like a steal. SeasonMap: 45°C and brutal. Rebooked for February — couldn't have been better.”

Questions
What do I get free vs. paid?
Everything. There are no members-only destinations and no members-only features — free gets all 604 destinations ranked and explained, every travel style, the weight sliders, the filters, full 12-month breakdowns, saving and comparing. The only difference is a fair-use limit on extremely heavy sessions (roughly a thousand actions in an hour, which normal planning never reaches), plus offline access in the app. Membership is how you support the project if it's useful to you.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Open the map and start planning — no signup, no card, no email. An account only exists so your saved list follows you between devices, and to become a member.
Is the data accurate?
Rankings are built on multi-decade climate normals (temperature, rain, humidity, sunshine, wind) plus air-quality data — not a single noisy forecast. Every score shows the numbers behind it so you can judge for yourself.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly and annual memberships can be cancelled anytime from Settings → Manage billing; you keep access through the period you paid for. Lifetime is a one-time payment with nothing to cancel.
Why is lifetime limited?
The $40 lifetime deal is a launch tactic — a capped number of spots to reward early members and fund the build. Once they're gone, it's annual-only. Lock it in while it lasts.
How current is the climate data?
Climate normals are stable by design — they describe the typical season, refreshed as new data is published. We re-stamp seasonal guidance ahead of each booking cycle so 'where to go next month' stays current.
Know before you book.
One bad-weather week can ruin a $3,000 trip. Open the map — all 604 destinations, free, no account — and see if it changes where you were about to go.
